Alb-Donau-Kreis is a district in the eastern part of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It surrounds, but does not include, the city of Ulm, which is the district's administrative seat. The region is named after the Swabian Jura (Schwäbische Alb) and the Danube River (Donau) that flows through it. Known for its picturesque landscapes, Alb-Donau-Kreis features rolling hills, rich forests, and historic towns. The area is a hub for both cultural heritage and outdoor activities, including hiking and cycling.
