Anhalt-Bitterfeld is a district in the southeastern part of the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. It was established in 2007 through the merger of the former districts of Bitterfeld, Köthen, and a part of Anhalt-Zerbst. The district's administrative center is in the town of Köthen. Notable for its rich industrial heritage, particularly in chemical production, Anhalt-Bitterfeld is also home to natural reserves and heritage sites, including the historic Wörlitz Park.
