  • Brazil with 61.9% of its total Land covered by forests, has 5.1 million km2 of forests.
  • Canada has 3,1 km2 of forest area. That is 34.1% of land area of Canada
  • U.S.A has 3.04 km2 of forest area. Exactly 1/3 of USA is covered with forests.
  • China with 22.3% of its total area, has 2,08 km2 of forests
  • Democratic Republic of the Congo has 1.5 km2 of forests which corresponds to 67.9% of the country's land. That makes the African country number 6 forest rich country of the world and first in Africa.
