Jerichower Land is a district in the northeastern part of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is bordered by the districts of Stendal, Börde, and the cities of Magdeburg and Brandenburg. The district was formed in 1994 through the merger of the former districts of Burg and Genthin. The Elbe River flows along its western edge, making it rich in natural beauty and biodiversity. The district's economy is primarily based on agriculture, with increasing developments in tourism and small industries.
